Amlan Saha, Operations Research Analyst

Amlan conducts strategic, environmental, and policy analyses of U.S. federal energy and climate
change legislation. Prior to joining MJB&A, Amlan attended graduate school at the Fletcher
School of Law and Diplomacy. At Fletcher, he studied public policy and international
security with a research focus on critical infrastructure protection including energy supply
pipelines, power plants, and airport security. His thesis work at Fletcher developed a
public policy framework to measure the effectiveness and appropriateness of national security
policies. He was a research assistant at the Jebsen Center for Counter Terrorism Studies
while completing his degree at Fletcher.
During the summer of 2006, he was an associate at the offices of Smiths Detection Plc in Bangkok,
Thailand, where he advised the regional director on government tenders and logistics agreements for
security apparatus at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the second busiest in Asia.
Before attending graduate school, Amlan ran an internet start-up for two years and worked in
technology management at Siemens for three years in Singapore.
Amlan holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from the Fletcher School of Law and
Diplomacy, an MBA from l'Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC Paris), and a Bachelor of Science
in engineering from the National University of Singapore.
