MJB&A Launches Website Updates and Moves to Carbon-Neutral Hosting Service

MJ Bradley & Associates recently launched several updates to its corporate website and selected a new vendor, pair Networks, to provide hosting services.  The updates to the website include a new portal to view the 2012 Benchmarking Air Emissions Report, and a new publications section that provides better access to MJB&A information resources.

pair Networks is a Pittsburgh-based web hosting company that uses renewable energy for all of its operations and data centers, and invests in carbon offsets to neutralize carbon emissions from employee travel and other non-energy related business activities.  MJB&A selected pair because of its long history as a reliable web host, and because of its commitment to environmentally responsible business practices. pair works with Renewable Choice energy to procure renewable energy certificates (RECs) and verified emissions reductions (VERs) to offset all energy use, and has made a commitment to pursue available energy efficiency opportunities.   Data centers consume significant amounts of energy per square foot, and account for roughly two percent of the electricity use in the U.S.  Partnering with pair to host www.mjbradley.com was an opportunity for MJB&A to reduce the negative impacts of this energy use.  More information about energy use in data centers is available from ENERGY STAR.
