Camden Holland

Policy Analyst

Camden provides analytical support on federal, state, and regional regulatory and legislative proceedings in support of MJB&A’s clients in the electric, natural gas, renewable energy, transportation, and not-for-profit sectors. His work includes focused analyses of national and international energy and power markets, research on electric system reliability, business strategies for the integration of natural gas and renewable energy, energy efficiency, and corporate environmental strategy.

Prior to joining MJB&A, Camden worked as a Power Market Analyst at Altenex LLC, where he specialized in international policy and alternative energy strategies for a team of engineers, marketing specialists and industrial clients. In this capacity, he provided bi-monthly renewable energy and carbon market policy reports to the Board of Directors and provided insight on emerging international alternative energy developments and financing mechanisms. His analysis of California’s climate change policy and its effect on electric utilities provided strategic insight to wind developers and power origination professionals.

Camden holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Biology from St. Lawrence University.

Camden has worked as an outdoor guide in Adirondack Park and in his free time enjoys surfing, fly-fishing and other coastal adventures.
