With over ten years of experience working in environmental law and corporate strategy, Carrie provides strategic advice on energy, climate change, and air quality issues to MJB&A clients. She advises companies on the business implications of regulatory and legislative proposals and works with clients to engage with state and federal policymakers. She also works with the members of the Clean Energy Group (CEG), a group of electric generating companies committed to working with policymakers and other stakeholders to promote effective environmental policy options in the areas of air quality and energy. Carrie works with the members of CEG to respond to federal regulatory proposals, engage with other stakeholders on behalf of CEG to develop federal policy recommendations, and develop legislative language on air quality and energy issues.
Prior to joining MJB&A, Carrie was an associate in the environmental groups at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Washington, D.C. and at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston, MA. During that time, she participated in the negotiation for a new source review settlement with the United States and three states and a Clean Water Act settlement with the United States.
Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Harvard College and a Juris Doctor degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. Carrie lives north of Boston with her husband and young son.
