Alissa is a Policy Analyst at MJB&A and provides clients strategic consulting services to address energy and environmental issues for the private, public, and non-profit sector. Her focus areas include transportation electrification, sustainability and TCFD-aligned reports, and offshore wind. Alissa also helps facilitate two of MJB&A's coalitions - the Utility EV Initiative and the Transportation and Climate Initiative coalitions.
Prior to joining MJB&A in 2018, Alissa served as an economics and clean energy intern for the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF). There she worked on electric vehicle implementation strategy, the effects of particulate matter on human health, distributed energy resource pricing signals, and solar and electric vehicle benefits. Before EDF, Alissa was an intern for Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) for the Rates team within Regulatory Affairs.
In addition to previous internship experience, Alissa wrote her senior thesis on wind energy integration in Texas titled “Transmission Infrastructure and Wind Integration: What Texas’ Competitive Renewable Energy Zones (CREZ) Project Means for Renewable Energy Incorporation.” Alissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in Environmental Studies from Middlebury College.
