Jackie Altschuler

Policy Analyst

Jackie is a Policy Analyst at MJB&A providing clients strategic advice on energy and environmental policy. Jackie works with MJB&A’s Clean Energy Group, tracking air quality and climate legislation.

Before joining MBJ&A in 2020, Jackie worked as an analyst for Resource Recycling Systems, an environmental consulting firm focused on recycling and waste diversion. During her time there, Jackie worked on solid waste management plans, helped facilitate an online waste exchange marketplace, and provided research and data analysis support. Jackie also interned at Louis Berger, participating in the Global Innovation Challenge, where she researched how to create best practices in sustainable rebuilding and resiliency after natural disasters.

Jackie holds a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Environment, Economy, Development, and Sustainability from The Ohio State University. During her capstone project, Jackie worked with the Department of Transportation and Traffic Management to identify ways to make OSU’s campus more bicycle friendly. Jackie also worked as a lab assistant, researching coral adaptability to increased seawater acidity and temperature due to global climate change.
